PACKAGING
LILOPEAT production can be packed in different types of well-designed high quality bags. The most commonly used package option for white peat is 250l. The capacity of one marine container (40’) contains approximately 540 units of 250l such bags (on 18 pallets). Black peat moss is mostly packed in 70l bags.
The weight of one marine container (40’) is usually 22-24 tones.
Some customers request to pack the production in big bales. The capacity of one big bale varies from the type of peat moss:
Category of the product | The capacity of one big bale (l) |
White (light) peat | 6000 |
Brown peat | 4000 |
Black peat | 3000 |
